My name is Nadine Hassouneh and I am currently a Senior Researcher and Co-PI of the Kone Foundation funded project titled No Time for Despair: The Geopolitics of (Peri)menopause (aka Menopolitics) based at The Migration Institute of Finland/Siirtolaisuusinstituutti. I hold a PhD in International Conflict Analysis and an MA in International Development from the University of Kent, UK.
My main research interests include (Internal) Displacement, Intra-State Deportations, Syrian Conflict, Safety, Security & Risk Studies, Critical Humanitarian Studies and Everyday Humanitarianism, Conflict and Security, (Stateless) Diaspora Studies, and Language & Context Specific Methodologies.
